The size of this lotus blossom bud is about 8cm in diameter. Next day this lotus bud will open its petals and develop its full lotus beauty and sweet lotus fragrance.

The poppy bloomed, but it was so heavy it broke the stem ... I had to prop it up to take photos :(

Yellow flower with background out of focus
When take this flower, i just curious in the middle of this flower, it's take couple days to figure out what to name this photo, finally name of "swirl" comes out... flower with combination of white and red, somehow it may like the flying bird.
Best in show was awarded to Matthew Soper of Hampshire Carnivorous Plants and he was delighted.

Well, his gold medal record is as unblemished as his prize winning vegetables; another gold for Medwyn and an unbroken record. And to top it off the sun is shining! I'm really not used to this at a flower show, I might have to go and have a lie down. In the sun. With an ice cream perhaps... Info from:
